- a. Qadamessa Kebele Gomma, Oromia, Ethiopia · Ethiopian Landraces · Washed Black Forest cake in a cup: black currant, black cherry, and dark chocolate, with a snap of pine. Slick rather than drying, it sweetens the longer you sit with it.
- b. Hadeso Kebele Shakiso, Guji, Ethiopia · Ethiopian Landraces · Fully Washed A fruit stand with a funky streak: jackfruit, persimmon, and melon, dusted in cinnamon and walnut. The orange wine of Ethiopian coffees, the kind that turns heads.
